Stunning world class resort

I have traveled all over the world, and to have this stunning world class resort nestled right in my own backyard - it was amazing to experience. From the moment we boarded the beautiful helicopter to the second we step off back in Vancouver we were spoiled.

The accommodations were first class - immaculate, spacious rooms, luxurious linens - all topped off by the spectacular ocean view. Chef Terry's gourmet cuisine looked like artwork, and tasted even better...every bite was full of rich, amazing flavours. The Island Currents Spa & Wellness Centre was a tranquil haven that I was able to escape to for 3.5 hours of pampering. I didn't even come close to doing everything that was available...the activities are unlimited at the resort. However, I must say that the highlight of my getaway...the fishing. I absolutely loved it; catching 2 fish over 24lbs. A slice heaven on earth - Sonora Resort!

Breathtaking Surroundings

The breathtaking surroundings of Sonora are only overshadowed by the amazing experience we had and the treatment we received from your team. A good friend of mine was a manager of a 5 Diamond hotel here in Vancouver and he always said that the extra Diamond is for the gift of being able to anticipate the guests' needs before they ask. Your team certainly has that gift and we were treated exceptionally well. I'm sure you've heard these compliments many times but the food, service, attention and intelligence of your team were memorable. In particular as I mentioned Daniel was the perfect host and we also had a great time with Jordon and Travis - each and every interaction was great. We all loved as well the smooth talking Aaron and the exciting trip through the rapids with him.

I've planned a lot of memorable trips for our top performers but this really was the best of all of them. There have been many conversations about going back to Sonora and I know I speak for everyone that I hope we can enjoy your little piece of paradise again very soon.

The setting was fantastic ...

I was up at Sonora Resort earlier this week for an AVAD/Niles retreat, and I must tell you it was a wonderful experience. The setting was fantastic, the accommodations were very comfortable, and the staff was outstanding. Whoever manages the hiring process should be commended. I hope to make it up there again some day.

Using mere words will not do justice ...

My wife and I just spent 5 days in your beautiful Sonora Resort.

Using mere words will not do justice for all Suri and I experienced this past week at Sonora resort. The beautiful resort brought about the alleviated sense that was extremely up-lifting.

The one factor that made the stay even more significant was the staff at the resort. I would like to pay my highest compliments to ALL of the Sonora staff for they are all about courtesy, professionalism and pleasantness. Their inquisitive all around help with unique attention to even the smallest of details could be a tricky situation to navigate, never-the-less, this crew made it look real easy.

In closing we would like to give our sincere thanks to the following:

Stan - for the word NO - does not exist in his vocabulary. Ron - for he did not miss the smallest detail even once. Karli - for her great efficiency to approach matters with a positive out-look. ... truly an experience that you will want to re-live.

I had the distinct pleasure of bringing a group of business executives from a fortune 500 company to Sonora Resort in July of 2005. From negotiating the initial contract to the execution of the program my expectations were consistently exceeded.

My group did not know what to expect upon arriving at Sonora Resort. But as soon as the sea planes landed in the beautiful waters in front of the resort and we were greeted by the wonderful staff, they knew they were going to experience a trip of a lifetime.

Our accommodations were superior, the food and presentation of each meal is that of a 5 star restaurant with a cordon blue chef.

We participated in many activities from spa treatments to a movie night, but of course the highlight was the fishing and they did a lot of that. Of course they also had meetings and the surroundings for discussing corporate issues could not have been any better.

Upon departure from the resort we were again treated to a first class farewell from the staff only making it that much harder to leave. I hope that we will have the opportunity to return as it is truly an experience that you will want to re-live.
